The color of the base is white, not beige. This was a bit disappointing, but I won't return it as it's not a major issue. It's unclear whether it's actually this beige in reality, or if the base was mixed up for me. For some people, this could be a critical issue if the color is carefully matched to the interior. I deducted one star for this, but overall the product is good, and I like the price/quality ratio.
Thanks to 6 years of engineering education for making me figure out how to assemble this marvel. Just in case someone finds this useful: we insert the corrugated pipe with holes downwards, as if into the iron structure, up to the level of the first iron ring. We push the corrugated pipe through the ring so that the iron ring is inside the holes. After this step is done, we turn the corrugated pipe from the inside out. VOILA!)
